Property

The Jockey Club Estates property portfolio extends beyond the 2,500 acres of training grounds in Newmarket and 550 acres in Lambourn. In and around Newmarket the portfolio includes the land occupied by the two racecourses (Rowley Mile and July Course) plus the Links Golf Club and the National Stud. In total, including Lambourn, it amounts to over 5,500 acres

There are over 90 properties in the portfolio, headed by the Jockey Club Rooms, and including both commercial and residential properties.

The residential properties are principally designed to be let to staff employed by The Jockey Club and range from two to three bedroom houses. There are also a small number of properties available to rent to those working in the racing industry and the general market on Assured Shorthold Tenancies.

Jockey Club Estates also owns a variety of commercial properties, ranging from the Jockey Club Rooms to retail premises.

Making the most of the company’s experience in this sphere, Jockey Club Estates also provides a property management service to Racing Welfare and The National Stud, both part of The Jockey Club group. This includes comprehensive tenancy and repair management ranging from rent collection to implementing a maintenance schedule for a portfolio of over 230 properties.

Parties can register their interest to rent one of Jockey Club Estates’ properties by completing an application. Successful applicants will be placed on a housing register and will be contacted should a suitable property become available.
